KYC Updates:

• FASTag users must update their KYC details by October 31, especially if their FASTag is between 3 to 5 years old.
• Companies providing FASTag services must complete KYC for all FASTags issued between three to five years ago by October 31.

Vehicle Detail Linking:

• Vehicle owners must link their registration number and chassis number with their FASTag.
• New vehicle owners must update their FASTag with the vehicle’s registration number within 90 days of purchase.

Additional Requirements:

• FASTags older than five years must be replaced.
• FASTag providers must verify their databases to ensure accuracy.
• Users must upload clear photos of the vehicle’s front and side to their FASTag account.
• Each FASTag must be linked to the owner’s mobile number for seamless communication and updates.

Key New Regulations:

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Failure to comply with the new rules by October 31, 2024, may lead to significant inconveniences at toll plazas.
