Sachin Tendulkar postal stamp to mark the start of his 200th Test
New Delhi – Hosts of Sachin Tendulkar’s 200th and last Test – Mumbai Cricket Association have announced that they will release a commemorative postal stamp with Tendulkar’s photo at the presentation before the start of the second Test between India and West Indies on November 14 at the Wankhede Stadium. “It was decided interalia to come out with commemorative postal stamp with Sachin’s photo at the presentation before the start of the match, followed by presentation to be made jointly by BCCI and MCA,” the association said in a statement. Also, the MCA will come out with a 64-page brochure consisting of articles and quotes from personalities belonging to different fields on Tendulkar. Also a special coin will be used for the toss, which will be preserved by MCA.
“Everyday there will be distribution of 10,000 face masks, 10,000 scorecards and 10,000 caps with Sachin’s photograph in different stands,” the Mumbai Cricket Association statement added.
