ICC appoints judicial commissioner
The ICC, through a press release, announced that it has appointed ‘His Honour Gordon Lewis AM’ as the judicial commissioner to deal with the Level 3 ICC code of conduct violation case that India has levelled against James Anderson and the Level 2 violation against Ravindra Jadeja following the charges levelled by India and England.
Gordon Lewis is Australia’s representative on the ICC Code of Conduct Commission. A preliminary hearing will be held on July 22. A Level 3 breach carries a penalty of four to eight suspension points.
Two suspension points equate a ban of one Test or two ODIs.
