Botham asks England to `act fast, hit Oz hard with pace` in Perth Test
Botham says England's `inability` to `finish off` Oz difference between two Ashes sides
London – Former England cricketer Ian Botham has said that their team must act fast and hit the Aussies with pacemen in Perth if they want to do anything notable in the Ashes.
According to the Mirror, Botham said that the players should ask themselves if they have done any justice because the answer is no.
They need to go to Perth and relish the contest, not shrink from it, he said.
Australia have a good record there, but it is a great ground to play on and one that England can do well on if they bat properly, he added.
Botham also suggested that England should make Mitchell Johnson bowl over after over, spell after spell to see his pace go down when he has had to sweat in the sun all day.
