Dense fog disrupts flights, trains in Delhi; biting cold claims 16 lives in Uttar Pradesh

Dense fog continues to disrupt air and rail traffic in Delhi as over 60 flights and 100 trains were delayed today. 16 people have died in Uttar Pradesh as the entire northern region reels under an intense cold wave with the mercury dipping to freezing point at several places.
