Are we witnessing an increasing level of intolerance across the world?

With the cold blooded murder of ten employees of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo along with two policemen by terrorists over its satirical cartoons, we ask whether there is a growing level of intolerance in the world. A panel of experts discuss why there are repeated incidents of brutal murder and violence by groups against literature, movies and other works of art over what they claim to be ‘offending to their religion’. We also ask whether there has to be some curbs on freedom of expression so that it is not abused to deliberately offend, malign or provoke a person or a community. (Audio in Hindi)
