BJP’s high command lacking control over right-wing MPs?

Today on News Point, we ask whether the party high command and the prime minister himself have no say or control over MPs who make controversial statements in public speeches that cause embarrassment to the party itself. BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj was issued a show-cause notice who had stirred a controversy by asking Hindu women to ‘produce at least four children’. Many other ‘sangh’ based MPs from the party have also been seen making public speeches that are likely to incite communal sentiments. (Audio in Hindi)
