Not giving way for an ambulance can land you with a 2000 Rs fine

The Delhi Traffic Police has announced that blocking the path of an ambulance and not giving way can lead to the driver being slapped with a legal notice and 2000 Rs fine. Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Mukesh Chander said that the date, time, location and photographic evidence showing who blocked the path of the ambulance should be given to the police by the complainant and necessary action would be taken against the accused.
