Anti-gay Pastor Fred Phelps Sr. Dies at 84
Rev. Fred Phelps Sr., the fiery founder of a small Kansas church known for outrageous and hate-filled protests, has died. The church blamed almost everything, including the deaths of U.S. soldiers, on America’s tolerance for gay people. (March 20)
