London – Motorola has reportedly unveiled its latest budget Moto G smartphone range which is touted to compete against Apple’s iPhone5C.

The Moto G comes in seven colours and is available for 135 pounds, while Apple’s iPhone 5C, also in variety of colours is priced at 469 pounds.

According to Mirror, the Moto G comprises 4.5-inch HD screen, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera and operates on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

Experts opine that the phone is aimed at savvy consumers who are looking for value rather than a status symbol, and it is poised cash in on the budget end of the market.

The Google-owned company said that it was aiming to put an affordable smartphone into the hands of people that have been looking but been unable to afford the hefty price tags.

Analysts have predicted that the new Moto G, at fraction of Apple’s iPhone 5C price will be a hit this holiday season, the report added.
