BJP’s Record Hat-Trick in Haryana, National Conference-Congress Wins in Jammu and Kashmir

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a strong victory in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, winning 48 out of 90 seats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the win, linking it to the auspicious festival of Navaratri and the lotus symbol blossoming for a third consecutive term. The Indian National Congress (INC) trailed with 37 seats, while smaller players like the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and independent candidates took 2 and 3 seats, respectively.

In Haryana, the BJP made history by securing a third consecutive term, winning 48 seats, while Congress secured 37. PM Modi expressed gratitude to the people of Haryana for their support. In J&K’s 90-seat assembly, NC and Congress won 49 seats, BJP 29, and PDP 3, with AAP celebrating its first victory in the region.
