Voter turnout will be higher: Vijay Dev

New Delhi – This time the “voter turnout will be higher”, Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Dev hoped Wednesday.

“I expect that this time the voter turnout will be high! er. I especially request the young voter to exercise their right to vot! e and show the same enthusiasm they had shown before elections,” Vijay Dev told reporters after casting his vote in New Delhi assembly constituency.

Delhi recorded a voter turnout of 57.58 percent in the 2008 assembly election.
