MP government trying to shield itself by making irrelevant statements
Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) leader Majeed Memon on Monday said that the Madhya Pradesh government was trying to shield itself from trouble by making irrelevant statements.
“Madhya Pradesh government is trying to shield and get out of this trouble by making these kinds of statements which are hardly relevant or hardly believable. In matters like these where one after the another deaths are occurring, it needs to be probed because these deaths may not be natural, and that these may have connection with the investigation,” Memon told ANI.
Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya had earlier drawn sharp censure when he appeared to comment on Akshay Singh’s death by saying, “Is a journalist bigger than me?”, reportedly in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He later backtracked and claimed that it was a joke that he had cracked which was later taken out of context.
