Himachal mishap: Navy divers to be engaged in search operations

Navy divers deputed by the Defence Ministry are on their way to join the search for the bodies of Hyderabad engineering college students, who were washed away in river Beas.

Following the request of victims’ parents Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandarababu Naidu directed the Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao to request for Navy divers for the search operations.

Mr.Rao spoke to Defence Ministry and his Himachal Pradesh counterpart this morning and they responded positively.
