Former union minister and expelled leader continued to be in coma Wednesday, with doctors describing his condition as “grave”.

A statement issued from the Army Hospital (Research and Referral) said Jaswant Singh was “still in coma. On ventilatory support. Vitals stable. Condition continues to be grave”.

The statement added that he had fever, “transient hypotension” (low blood pressure) and his condition was “slightly worse than yesterday (Tuesday)”.

The 76-year-old former cabinet minister was admitted to the hospital on Aug 8 in a critical condition, with a head injury following a fall at his house here.
