E-cigarettes `may not` significantly reduce heart disease risk
London – If all smokers in the world switched from cigarettes to electronic cigarettes, it could save millions of lives, scientists have revealed.
Researchers are hopeful that an increasing use of e-cigarettes could prevent the death toll, which is currently about 100,000 deaths per year in UK and is estimated to be more than five million worldwide, from rising, the BBC reported.
However, some groups warn that e-cigarettes could normalize smoking.
