3rd national moratorium on porn filming lifted
Washington – The Free Speech Coalition, who had recently suspended the filming of X-rated flicks after a performer was tested positive for HIV, has lifted the third national moratorium.
The advocacy group for the adult film industry, which keeps a check on porn stars for STDs, said that it is safe to return to shooting as all first-generation partners of the HIV-positive performer have since tested negative, the Huffington Post reported.
Meanwhile, porn star Cindy Starfall told the publication that lifting the moratorium in such a hurry makes her wonder if they really care about the performer’s health or is it more about profit.
However, another male porn star said that even though the HIV incident was “unfortunate and vexing,” he is comfortable going back to work.
Previous moratoriums were declared when porn stars and real-life couple Cameron Bay and Rod Daily were tested positive for HIV.
