Sonam is recovering well: Anil Kapoor

Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor, who tested positive for swine flu, is recovering well at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. Her father Anil Kapoor updated the status of his daughter’s health.Anil Kapoor said Sonam is recovering well and may be discharged in a week.

Sonam was first hospitalized on Feb 8 due to a respiratory problem aggravated by the dust and heat on the sets of Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.’ Again the actress fell ill on the sets of the same film, this time with a more serious infection.

Sooraj Barjatya was seen far more worried than Sonam. Even when an air ambulance flew her back to Mumbai from Rajkot, Sonamr was calm and controlled.

Sonam’s parents and sister have been keeping a constant vigil on her health at the Kokilaben hospital. When contacted Anil Kapoor said, “She’s better now. But she’ll be under observations for a few days.”

Sonam is expected to be discharged from the hospital by the end of this week. It would be a subdued Holi for the Kapoor’s this year.
