Kerr, Bloom ‘united’ for son’s sake
New York – Supermodel Miranda Kerr believes it is important for her to stand “united” with her estranged husband Orlando Bloom for their two-year-old son’s happiness.
The couple ended their three-year marriage in October. Kerr insists they’ll always “love and care” for each other because they share a special bond over their baby.
“Flynn is the most important thing in both our lives. And because we share that bond, we both feel it’s important to be united,” Kerr said in an interview to Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“It’s difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it’s on a public scale or not. It was important for us long-term to preserve our friendship and the dynamic of being loving parents to Flynn so we dealt with everything openly and honestly,” she added.
The 30-year-old model is staying in New! York instead of heading home to her native Australia for the festive s! eason. She doesn’t want to take Flynn away from his father as the actor is busy working on his Broadway play “Romeo and Juliet”.
“We’re trying to do our best to support each other,” she added.
