Fast and Furious 7` may be cancelled after Paul Walker’s tragic death
Washington – The production of ‘Fast and Furious 7’ has been put on hold after the sudden death of the movie’s star Paul Walker, who recently died in a fiery car crash along with close pal Roger Rodas in Southern California.
It seems that resuming the shooting of the film has proven to be too challenging for Universal Pictures, director James Wan and the rest of the creative team, Fox News reported.
The latest installment of the popular franchise began shooting in September and filming was on a Thanksgiving break when Walker died in a car crash.
While speculation are rife that the team may start over with a fresh script sans Walker’s character, the leading role of Brian O’Conner, a source told the publication that that would likely be more problematic.
