Bigg Boss 8: Will Ajay Devgn Replace Salman Khan in TV Reality Show?

Rumours are afloat that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be replaced as the Bigg Boss host in its next 8th season to be aired this year 2014.

Reports earlier said both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were contacted for the role but Salman Khan recommended his friend Ajay Devgn and producers have decided to go with this. Ranveer anyway said that he was not approached at all. “I haven’t been approached for Bigg Boss 8 so far. If television comes my way and I can make room for it in my schedule, I will do it,” he told Koimoi.

Since Salman Khan had already expressed his intention to move out of the show, producers were on hunt for a long time for an equally big Bollywood figure who could step into his shoes. Now Ajay Devgn would step into the role, as his name dropped in many times during the earlier show as his sister-in-law was participating the reality show.

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 7 till December 2013 and was blamed for being partisan and unfair many times. When Ajay Devgn was asked about it, he merely said: “I really don’t know. I cannot comment on that – may be I will or may be not. I am not sure.”

The official confirmation is anyway long from now.
