Ajay Devgn confident about ‘Drishyam’ success at box-office

Bollywood versatile actor Ajay Devgn, who was recently spotted in Mumbai to promote his upcoming thriller drama flick ‘Drishyam’ along with his co-star Tabu, revealed why his upcoming “not-so commercial” movie will strike the right chord with the people.

Speaking on the occasion, the 46-year-old actor said, “Movies like ‘Drishyam’ are kind of films that become successful because of word-of-mouth and I can assure you this is a mind blowing film. It doesn’t matter how the movie takes-off on the first day from the box-office but will gradually captivate the audience’s attention.”

The ‘Singham’ star continued that it becomes difficult to promote movies like ‘ Drishyam’ as the movie doesn’t feature commercial songs and is being less promoted and that’s where the “word-of-mouth” strategy comes handy.

Ajay and Tabu will be seen sharing the screen space after their 1999 movie ‘Takshak’.

The movie is helmed by Nishikant Kama and is slated to hit the theatres on July 31, 2015.
