CS exams: Two Ahmedabad girls, Dahod boy in India’s top 10
AHMEDABAD: Three students, including two girls, from Ahmedabad are in the top 10 in the All India Company Secretary (Foundation) exam, results of which were declared here on Friday. Out of 400 students, 207 have passed the exam posting a result of over 50%.
Mustufa Bootwala, a Dahod boy who studies in Ahmedabad as a PG student in Astodia, has ranked first in Ahmedabad and secured third rank in India. His father is a businessman. Mustufa, who had scored 85% in HSC exams, said that regular studies helped him perform well.
Prachi Prajapati has ranked second in Ahmedabad and fourth in India. Prachi’s father too is a businessman. Her brother is pursuing MBA. Prachi had scored 83% marks in HSC. She said that she used to study for three to four hours for the exam. “I attended my classes regularly which helped me clear the exams with flying colours,” she said.
Sonu Jain, another city girl, has stood third in Ahmedabad and seventh in India. She is a student of SM Patel Commerce College. She had scored 85% marks in HSC. Her father is a manager in a factory. Sonu said that her father supported her immensely in the preparation as he wanted at least one of his children to shine in academics. The CS exam is an OMR-based exam consisting of 400 marks.
