CBSE will now allow ‘revaluation’
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced the provision of ‘revaluation’ at Class XII level from this year. It is in addition to the provisions of verification of marks and obtaining of photocopy of evaluated answer books which are already in practice.
It is a three-step interlinked process as candidates applying for verification of marks will only be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book and those obtaining photocopy of answer book will only be eligible to apply for revaluation in the identified subjects only.
For verification of marks, applications should make an online request within seven days with effect from Friday. The last day of request is June 5 and applicants need to pay Rs 300 per subject. Request for obtaining photocopy of answer book can be made between June 20 and June 23. In case a student is not satisfied, they can request for revaluation, but before that they must follow these two steps. The entire application process is online.
