SpiceJet unveils scheme for MSME travellers
The airline unveiled a new dedicated self-booking platform, ‘SME Traveller’, for air travellers for this corporate segment, offering flexibility and savings on every booking.
The platform will allow MSME executives to avail up to 10 percent discount and collect “Spice Points” upon each completed travel, among other benefits.
The travelers will be able to use Spice Points to obtain further discounts on their future travel.
The new scheme will allow qualifying firms to manage their cost, schedule and overall travel requirements proactively and will help individual business travellers of the registered MSMEs to manage their own travel needs.
“SME Traveller is aimed at targeting nearly 70-100 million MSMEs in the country who contribute to 8 percent of the country’s GDP besides contributing to 36 percent of the total value of exports. Therefore, we definitely see a business need to reach out to this section,” SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Kaneswaran Avili.
SpiceJet was today quoting at Rs 13.13, down Rs 0.17, or 1.28 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 23.05 and the 52-week low was Rs 11.10.
