BSNL to open call centre at Technopark

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 200 seat call centre facility to serve BSNL telephone service subscribers across the state would become operational at Technopark here by August, 2014, BSNL Kerala chief general manager M S S Rao said here on Friday. Earlier, the call centre for BSNL Kerala was operating from Bangalore. BSNL has selected BPO major Aegis to run the call centre facility.

Rao said the National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) project, which aims to ensure broad band connectivity in every panchayath would be completed in Kerala during this current fiscal year.

He also added that 142 locations have been identified for setting up new customer service centres in the state.
