Vyapam whistle-blower wins court battle against Madhya Pradesh government

Madhya Pradesh: State withdraws transfers
The transfers of Dr Anand Rai, one of the main whistleblowers in the Vyapam cash-for-jobs scam, and his wife Gauri, by the health department have been cancelled, the Madhya Pradesh government on Friday assured the state high court. The couple will be reinstated to their original postings in Indore in a week, the government said in an affidavit. They will also be paid salary due for last three months, it said.
