Low water, power tariff very soon, free Wi-Fi likely by year-end: CM Kejriwal
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said his government will very soon make an announcement on reducing water and electricity tariff while free Wi-Fi may be activated by year-end.
“People are expecting a lot on water, power and Wi-Fi. We have prepared a blue print on water and power. Hopefully, we will make an announcement on reducing the tariff very soon,” he said.
The Delhi Chief Minister, who took oath on February 14, said work on anti-corruption helpline is in progress.On free Wi-Fi in the national capital, Kejriwal said, “Wi-Fi will take some time. Work is on…hopefully, within this year.” (sic)
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has come to power in Delhi on the basis of some big promises it made in its election manifesto. It has promised 700 litres of free water every month. It has also promised to reduce the electricity bill by half and make Delhi Wi-Fi.
