A detox isn’t just about the food
A detox also doesn’t have to be just about the food — it is much more than that. So if your body is craving for some sleep — give it just that! Don’t worry about just sleeping through the day. Sometimes that is just what your body requires. Take short naps or long ones. This way your body gets the rest it needs to repair itself.
– What you eat and drink is very important. Cut out all processed and junk food from your house. Avoid the sweet stuff. Go the natural route — eat fresh vegetables and fruits and drink juices, coconut water or green tea to cleanse out your system.
– Once you’ve slept off that tiredness and started a healthy diet, it’s time to exercise a bit. Start by stretching your body completely and gradually start on light exercises. Yoga is an excellent option.
