Adding more sweetness to the foodie landscape of Chandigarh, La Stella, the spanking new bakery in Sector 9, is an authentic European treat.

Endeavouring to offer a taste of classic French patisserie, it emphasizes on quality ingredients, sophisticated simplicity, and attention to detail. This warm and welcoming Deli and Patisserie offers an assortment of delectable cakes, cookies, macaroons, cupcakes, choux pastries, tarts, cakes, and much more.

Under the aegis of chef Kajal Goyal, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and the founder & chef director at La Stella, the chefs are whipping up delicious desserts and melt-in-the mouth cheesecakes. Says Kajal, “It was always my dream to open a bakery which stood for real authentic European taste and quality. Chandigarh is a modern city that appreciates good food and innovation and we are sure to satiate every palate with our expertise.”

Kajal started her baking journey from Food Craft Institute, Chandigarh where she was awarded ‘The Student of the Year’ and went on to achieve bigger dreams thereafter, which were augured well after her marriage to the food entrepreneur in city, Manish Goyal. “Enjoying good food is as much about the environment as the food itself,” said Kajal, “With a lot of natural light streaming in through the windows, the aura convinces you to sit and unwind over cappuccino or cafe mocha.”

Right from freshly baked breads, buttery croissant, a towering croquembouche encased in spun sugar, a chocolate truffle, Opera, to Ganache, Eclairs, chocolates, sandwiches and pizzas- the assortment of aromas wafting through are appetising.
“We have also launched gluten free products now, like the pound cake and are set to add more to this repertoire, in cup cakes, cookies etc. And we also have a range of rye bread, sago et al,” Kajal wraps up.
