Abhay Savargaonkar named Airtel CTO

New Delhi: Jagbir Singh, chief technology officer of Bharti Airtel Ltd, has resigned and will be replaced by Abhay Savargaonkar, who was the head of network operations for the country’s largest telcom company by revenue and subscribers.
Singh is the latest in a number of senior executives that have resigned from the company in the last one year since Gopal Vittal took over as CEO of the company.
