London – Egyptian police have arrested three journalists working for the Al-Jazeera broadcaster in the capital Cairo for holding illegal meetings with the banned Muslim Brotherhood , which was declared a terrorist organisation last week.
Those arrested includes the TV network’s Cairo bureau chief Mohamed Fadel Fahmy, former BBC correspondent Peter Greste, and an unnamed cameraman, the BBC reports.
