Apple CEO Tim Cook’s pay largely unchanged in 2013
Washington – Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has been reportedly paid 4.25 million dollars in 2013, as the tech giant has slightly cut down on the total compensation compared to last year.
Apple noted the figure in its preliminary proxy statement, along with releasing the 2.6 million dollars a piece compensation of its top execs, which is a small fraction of the tech giant’s income from sales.
According to Cnet, Cook’s pay included a base salary of 1.4 million dollars, more than 53,000 dollars worth of benefits, and a 2.8 million dollars bonus, which is the maximum bonus Apple could give him.
Cook’s total pay didn’t change much from last year as he had been paid 4.2 million dollars in 2012, a 99 percent reduction from 2011, the report added.
