Ex-Man U manager Carlos Queiroz reveals desire to be new Tottenham boss
London – A former assistant manager of Manchester United has revealed that he wants to become the new boss of Tottenham Hotspur, which is currently without a manager after the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.
Carlos Queiroz is currently focused on the World Cup next summer after guiding Iran to the tournament, but he is known to be friends with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
According to Metro.co.uk, the Portuguese has said that he would be interested in taking the vacant job at White Hart Lane, if the opportunity arose as he appreciates and admires the club a lot, adding that one of his coaching dreams is to get back to English football as it was the most happy and outstanding football period of his entire career.
Queiroz made his name working alongside former boss Sir Alex Ferguson at United, before spells managing Real Madrid, Portugal and South Africa, the report added.
