Twitter launches private photo messaging on mobiles

Washington – Twitter has launched an update of its private messaging product with an ability to send photos via Direct Message on mobiles, and swipeable timelines in the mobile apps.

According to AllThingsD, the update has been released for both the iOS and Android versions of the Twitter app with a new tab added in the navigation bar for the private communications.

The new update comes days before a highly anticipated Instagram event, the report added.
