iPhone 5S in India costs 22.3% against GDP
Sydney – Owning an iPhone in India is equivalent to 22.3 percent against the country’s GDP, a new study has revealed.
Comparing the handset price to the national average wealth for each person in a country, Mobile Unlocked revealed that India has the highest cost of owning Apple’s flagship product against its GDP, followed close by Vietnam, where it costs 19.7 percent.
According to news.com.au, in the US the hi-end device costs around 700 dollars for a 16GB iPhone5S while in Jordan it can cost more than 1,000 dollars.
Meanwhile, the lowest cost of owning an iPhone against GDP is found in Qatar, Luxembourg and Singapore.
