Washington – President Barack Obama has said he is not much worried about his own safety, while reflecting on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy half a century ago.

Obama credited America’s Secret Service for doing an outstanding job every single day to provide security to him and the citizens of the country, Politico reports.

According to the report, the Secret Service tightened security after Kennedy’s assassination, and has continued to do so as new threats arose in past decade.

Obama also spoke about Kennedy’s legacy of capturing the idealism, the ability to imagine and remake America to meets its ideals. He said that nobody else has had that same impact on a generation and inspired so many people as JFK has.
