Ajman Free Zone Authority in Association with FICCI Promotes Offices, Warehouse and Land Amongst Businesses in Delhi and NCR
New Delhi – Ajman Free Zone Authority is promoting its offices, warehouses and land amidst Delhi & NCR based businesses desirous of setting up their presence in United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ajman, an Emirate of the UAE, through its strategic geographical position – foot of the Arabian Gulf – is a gateway for trade in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Of the 8000 plus companies registered and operational in Ajman Free Zone, over 35% are Indians and the intent of the Authority is to increase this count.
According to HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Free Zone, “Ajman Free Zone is one of the fastest growing in the region and this growth shall continue unabated owing to the kind of time and energy invested in customer-centric approach and services. We welcome business communities from different sectors in Delhi & NCR to set up their facilities in Ajman Free Zone. India is one of the largest trading partners of UAE and the Free Zone is poised to drive the existing economic cooperation even further. With a large Indian Diaspora residing in UAE and around the GCC, India and its business community is of strategic importance to us.”
In association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Ajman Free Zone Authority shall be organizing an investors’ meet soon to elucidate on the various offerings and advantages it has on offer. Leading chartered accountants (CA) & CA firms, tax consultants & lawyers, warehouse & logistics companies, exporters, business consulting and IT service providers etc., shall be invited for the same. The Free Zone recognizes the importance of its consulting partners and has always provided competitive compensation packages to them for client referrals.
His Excellency Mahmood Al Hashemi, General Manager, Ajman Free Zone informs, “There are myriad advantages that businesses from Delhi & NCR would accrue by setting up a base in Ajman Free Zone including 100% foreign ownership, repatriation of capital and profits, no corporate tax, no personal income tax, low labor cost and streamlined bureaucracy sans any red tape.”
Mr. Rishi Somaiya, Director, Sales & Marketing, adds, “There are no procedural delays – an individual or business can own an office, warehouse or land in Ajman Free Zone within 24 hours, or even less. For entrepreneurs and SMEs who find the entry cost prohibitive, we have come up with a plan wherein they can pay up in twelve easy installments, as low as US$ 555 per month. Trading license (commercial license for import and export), service license and industrial license – all of them get done within a day.”
Besides the land for large set-ups like manufacturing plants etc., Ajman Free Zone has introduced very innovative Smart Office and Smart Warehouse concept for SMEs. Smart Office allows them to have an immediate jumpstart by owning desk space within the fully furnished and serviced facilities that have exceptional interiors and best of features like meeting halls, board rooms, high speed Internet access etc. While Smart Warehouse means that investors can lease out space starting from as little as 100 square meters. The facility is scalable and multiple units can be taken to suit the requirement. In fact, the first phase of Smart Warehouse was well accepted and all units have been sold out.
