Rodgers insists Man City favourites to win PL title despite Liverpool's `good show`
London – Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez is fully committed to the club’s cause following the summer of transfer rumours and is happy.
According to SportsMole.co.uk, Suarez was expected to leave Anfield during the transfer window, with Arsenal and Real Madrid both strongly linked with the striker, but Rodgers said that the player is more than happy at the club.
Rodgers said that Suarez recognizes that Liverpool has a genuine chance this year of breaking into the top four, adding that he has had a difficult summer but he has come back more mature and his performance level has been really high.
Suarez has scored six goals in five league games since returning from suspension, the report said.
